Heymann & Partner was founded in April 2005. Today, we are approximately 20 lawyers, thereof 8 partners.
Most of our partners can look back to long and successful partnerships in global law firms. Founding Heymann & Partner was not an act of necessity. Our intention is to work in a small and focused law firm – without major bureaucracy and hierarchy but with high professionalism, effectiveness and efficiency. We collect first class adventuresome professionals. To sum up: "Simply good lawyers".
Often, clients have the alternative to either consult specialists from large law firms who work on high juristic level or to engage the economic advisor who has a superior overview and negotiating skills. We try to combine both.
In our core areas technology, corporate law, private equity, restructuring, outsourcing and intellectual property, we offer our clients comprehensive services. Nevertheless, we are not a "full service firm" and we do not intend to be one. Therefore, we have access to a network of correspondent lawyers and law firms which we call in occasionally and manage it as if we were one large integrated firm.
As our numerous awards illustrate, during the nearly 5 years since our foundation, Heymann & Partner has grown to a leading law firm in Germany in several areas. This helped us to build up long-lasting and strong cooperations with first class law firms from abroad. Due to this background it is possible for us to advise some of the most ambitious clients in partly extremely complex and major transactions.
As a small boutique we never forget that it is a high privilege for us to advise our clients - and not the other way round. That shapes our way of work and our communication.
In the end: We were independent from the beginning. We are today. And we still will be tomorrow. Therefore we can focus completely on what is best for our clients.
